We exist to Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples of Jesus (Matthew 22:36-40; John 13:35; Matthew 28:18-20)

Vision

We accomplish this mission by

1. Praising the one true God

2. Declaring the Christ-centered Word

(2 Timothy 3:16-17; Philippians 4:8-9; 2 Corinthians 1:20)

3. Serving in Christian Love

(Galatians 6:9-10; 1 Peter 4:10; Psalm 116:12; 1 Corinthians 12:4-7; Ephesians 2:10)

4. Sharing the Gospel with the world

(1 Corinthians 15:3-11; 1 Peter 3:15; Matthew 28:18-20)

5. Growing together in relationship with Jesus and others

The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. These words are found in the Westminster Confession of Faith and are a good summary of what the Bible teaches about our purpose in existence.

Jesus Himself answered the question of what is the most important commandment by saying love God and love others. His ministry was directed toward making disciples; bringing people into His kingdom and teaching them how to grow.

We take these priorities and commands of Jesus to be our call to action: Love God, Love others, and make disciples of Jesus.

The essential way to understand how to be a disciple, what it means to love God and others, is to search God's revealed word. The Bible is our guide to the very heart of God, as shown by His words and works. As a church we want to provide as many opportunities for people to come in contact with the truth of Scriptures as we can.
